Crimean Tatars block Crimean peninsula.

Crimean Tatars announced a blockade of the occupied Crimean peninsula. 20 september Crimean Tatars began a perpetual campaign to prevent freight transport in occupied Crimea.

Participants Civil blockade several demands to the authorities of the Russian Federation (Vladimir Huylo). In particular they want release of political prisoners Nadya Savchenko Oleg Sentsova, Kol’chenko Alexander, Alexander Kostenko, Ahtem Chiygoza, Mutafov Degermendzhy Ali Asanov, Tahir Smedlyaeva.

Among the requirements – end to the persecution of the Crimean Tatars, free work for Ukrainian media and foreign correspondents, lifting the ban on entry of the leader Crimean Tatar people.

On the administrative border between the Kherson region and the Crimea were about 300 trucks. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kherson region Ilya Kiva. Kiva also said that the actions of the Crimean Tatars is completely peaceable.
