War in Ukraine

Chronicles of Ukraine’s Fight and Resistance

Deep Strikes on Russian Territory: Tikhoretsk, Belgorod, Luhansk

Deep Strikes on Russian Territory: Tikhoretsk, Belgorod, Luhansk

Probably deep strikes on russian territory last night became somehow special for orcs¹, even though they haven’t expressed this in texts and videos yet. Recently Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the hub pumping station of the oil pipeline in Tikhoretsk, which pumps oil to the Novorossiysk export terminal. Then satellite images showed that two gigantic fuel reservoirs came under strike. Precisely they gave such a powerful hat² that it was clearly visible from space.

But these same images showed several reservoirs of the same capacity remained. They obviously weren’t embraced by good birds’ care. Perhaps technologies got applied here that don’t let flame jump from one tank to another. Or perhaps drones hit from above rather than the central or lower part of the reservoir. So fuel wouldn’t spread over a large area and with its burning wouldn’t drag other reservoirs into a funny round dance. But anyway, this night good birds flew again to that same location, which the enemy habitually calls “debris”. A colorful fire show flared up there with new force.

So far unknown how many new tanks got struck and accordingly how many remained for next time. But locals are very impressed by this show, discovering with surprise substantial discrepancies between the war’s appearance they observe with their own eyes and what television shows. By the way, they probably know what “debris” is and how it flies. In any case, some of them start guessing about something — they just can’t understand what exactly. After all, the tsar is still the same, television is in place — but impressions are completely different.

Belgorod

Recent events somehow pushed to the background the place where Ukraine’s Defense Forces created for the Rabid Federation a demo version of what it will gradually turn into if the demented old man continues running it. We’re talking about Belgorod. Due to small distance from our border, and also considering that from there for several years in a row things flew at Kharkiv — this city became a kind of announcement. An announcement of payback for everything Orcs did in Ukraine. As we know, things arrived there hard and repeatedly to such degree that everything in the city shut down. From electricity to sewerage.

Precisely the Belgorod gauleiter became the first who publicly stated that either dense air defense must be placed so nothing could reach at least the regional center, or strikes on Ukraine must stop. Because retaliatory strikes become simply catastrophic. As we know, the baton recently got picked up by the Bryansk region gauleiter, who came out with exactly the same statement. Yesterday he added another portion that looks as follows:

Alexander Vasilyevich on Saturday morning, when he learned we shelled Kyiv and other enemy cities, couldn’t hold back tears. Got offended that nobody listened to him at all, although he called moscow with corresponding requests. Said that now they’ll definitely bomb us hard in response, people might die again. It was painful to look at him.

Governors’ Nerves Fail

For this moscow calls him a traitor and proposes either to jail him or send him to assault troops. But here it’s not about the gauleiter anymore — but about the trend that gripped such public. They already understand that unpunished strikes on Ukraine remained in the past. What follows will be like in a fairy tale: the farther you go, the scarier it gets.

Let’s say, against the background of Orcs’ general anxiety — who increasingly observe something exploding or burning already on their own territory — such statements serve as something like a multiplier coefficient. On one hand, Orcs themselves see everything and even stop asking questions in the style: “What did we do wrong?” or “Where’s our air defense?”. But on the other hand — they see how even governors’ nerves fail. All this taken together leads not yet to panic, but to a very bad feeling that the bald grandpa leads them somewhere wrong. Therefore, to shame the panickers and cheer up the public, one bright propagandist commented on the Bryansk governor’s speech like this:

Heard that in Moscow such appeals are considered treasonous. Can a person who cries because we shelled the enemy lead a front-line region? I doubt it… I simply want us to be led by a person who meets wartime requirements.

Where’s Our Air Defense?

Increasingly expressed and silent questions to authorities start with the same thing — where’s air defense? But there they don’t tell that Ukraine cuts out various caliber anti-aircraft installations wholesale and retail daily. Moreover, deep strikes on russian territory aren’t empty claims — Ukraine’s Defense Forces document these events on video that anyone can watch. Telegram now overflows with such footage from drone onboard cameras. Not least, russia blocks Telegram there precisely so the public doesn’t see this mass execution of their air defense.

Literally this night on temporarily occupied Luhansk region territory, good birds smashed into trash a very interesting ammunition depot. Considering how secondary detonation unfolded there, specialists confidently say air defense missiles are exploding. So under the knife go both weapons systems themselves and ammunition depots for them. Now air defense doesn’t suffice even for pompous places where everything should be by highest standard.

The Führer Wants to Run Further

In connection with this, a message from an informed source about the sharp change in Kremlin führer’s tastes looks very interesting. As we remember, in the not-distant past pootin spent most of his time at the Sochi residence. This was especially true for autumn, winter, and spring — when the tsar preferred staying in subtropical climate warmth, closer to the sea. Now they write about this something worth citing in full quote:

Here certain publics noticed FSO plans to establish a security zone around Pootin’s “Bocharov Ruchey” residence in Sochi. Its area will compose over three square kilometers, and borders will pass both on land and at sea. But that’s not the main thing. Kremlin sources say the president doesn’t plan to visit this residence in the near future for security considerations.

The spilled fuel oil story doesn’t give him peace. Still, the president wants to rest well, not with health risk. But the main danger — enemy strikes. Drone strikes repeatedly fell on Sochi and Krasnodar Krai as a whole.

One of the interlocutors hinted that Vladimir Vladimirovich wants to build a new residence but place it farther from enemy borders. The exact location isn’t disclosed yet. Neither are construction timelines.

That is, even with maximum protection level, even the führer doesn’t feel safe. The only means that should save his carcass from the possibility of feeling an arrival on himself — distance and number of doubles. Obviously pootin has real understanding of his air defense both in terms of quantity and quality. Therefore — must run as far as possible. Deep strikes on russian territory proved once again: distance is the only protection that works, and even the führer understands this now. But Orcs have nowhere to run. Now they’re puzzling how to live further.

¹Orcs – a common term for Russians who support or participate in the armed aggression against Ukraine. Dehumanizing? Yes. Accurate? Also yes.

²Gave a hat (Ukrainian “дати шапку”) – from naval slang, meaning to release a thick column of smoke. Used sarcastically on WiU regarding russian oil refineries, since after meeting the Ukrainian drones they also release thick columns of smoke.
