Patriotic War Lies – Why Russia Calls WWII Differently

Patriotic War Lies – Why Russia Calls WWII Differently

A day is approaching that in the Sovok¹ and Russia is called “Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–45.” In this pompous title, only two words are not outright lies: “day” and “war.” Everything else is part of the Patriotic War Lies that have been spread for decades, a blatant and shameless distortion of history.

One might say: everyone has their own cockroaches, and each person is free to amuse themselves however they want. Yet first the USSR, and now the swamp² called Russia, have tried to make this into a commodity and forcefully shove it onto everyone they can reach. Moreover, today’s Kremlin rulers have also learned to speculate on this fake product. But since it is a “product,” let’s see if its manufacturer is lying to us and whether it sells what it claims to. Therefore, let’s first study the packaging — and then the content.

Carving History to Fit Ego

And so, on the package in big letters it says: “Patriotic War.” It even has the dates 1941–45 written. Since they celebrate it on May 9th, it means the war ended precisely on that day in 1945. But the absurdity of this dating only confirms the absurdity of the title itself. The entire world knows this was World War II, and it lasted from September 1939 until August 1945. However, some smartass carved out a fragment and called it “the Patriotic War.” And this was done only by the Sovok. No one else thought of slicing a world war into a “national” piece. Ukraine too could have easily created its own “Patriotic War”! Why not? Very simple. At the same time, the Sovok did it for two clear reasons:

  • to cut off the beginning and the end of the war, which were utterly shameful for the USSR;
  • to hammer into the spines of its citizens the myth that the Sovok alone defeated the vile aggressors and that this is something to be proud of.

Copying the Past

Let’s be clear: the Sovok invented nothing new. Russia already had one so-called Patriotic War — in 1812. Once again, the Sovok copied the story letter for letter. They hid the fact that the war began long before 1812 and ended much later. Slaves were fed only the tale of Napoleon’s invasion and retreat. From beginning to end, the doses of lies were so massive that absurdity itself became invisible. Even today, tell an average Katsap³ that Russia attacked Napoleonic France several times and always lost — and that Napoleon’s invasion was in fact a forced response — and they won’t believe it. France had no need for Russian territories or resources! It was only necessary to stop Russia’s constant raids.

And why did Russia keep attacking France? The answer is simple: Russia was always a whoring, wild, and sellout wench. At that time, there was a brutal struggle between English and French interests over colonies and sea routes. England simply paid the Tsar-Batyushka good money to throw Russian troops into war against Napoleon. The Katsapian soldier was the cheapest meat in Europe, and the Tsar desperately needed cash. That’s the whole story. So, it was vital to cut out how Napoleon’s campaign in Russia actually began — and how it ended. If you write honestly about Tilsit or Waterloo, it becomes clear that Russia fought alongside many other nations, and then its “victory” looks very different.

The War They Don’t Want You to See

Exactly the same trick was played by the Sovok. The beginning of the war had to be erased at any cost. Because if you start counting from the date recognized worldwide, it turns out that two countries started the war: Germany and the USSR. And throughout the entire conflict, only one country demonstrated the highest form of prostitution: it began as an ally of Germany and ended against Germany. From this, it follows that calling the war’s end a “Victory” for the Sovok is pure nonsense. At the start, the Sovok had completely different goals than the ones it stumbled into at the end — and that is not a victory.

Great Losses and Patriotic War Lies

The war’s ending also had to be hidden. Because the USSR behaved toward Japan exactly as Germany did toward the Sovok — it treacherously attacked, despite having a signed non-aggression pact. Thus, one of the war’s arsonists tried to privatize this carved-out chunk of history. Yet no one with common sense can call it “Patriotic.” Let’s remember: on Germany’s side fought between 600,000 and 800,000 ethnic Russians. The Baltics and Ukraine also fought against the communists. Not in full, but still. And not all fought for the Sovok either! There was no Patriotic War at all. Soviet citizens on occupied territories wished death to communists as much, if not more, than to fascists.

And now the last word in that title — “Great.” Yes, this was indeed a great event! But behind the grandeur lies the core of the Patriotic War Lies: catastrophic losses, false heroes, and the glorification of a fabricated narrative. Finishing our look at the “packaging,” let’s also note that besides inscriptions, it carries certain portraits — for example, Stalin and Zhukov, allegedly the greatest commanders. In the next articles, we will dissect the incompetence and stupidity of these butchers as we dig into the rotten “product” itself.

¹ Sovok — sarcastic abbreviation for “Soviet Union,” derived from “Sovetskiy Soyuz”. The word also means “dustpan,” carrying a double connotation of trashiness and backwardness.
² Swamps — ironic name for Russia, emphasizing decay, stagnation, and filth.
³ Katsaps — an old name for Russians. One version links it to their tradition of wearing long, “goat-like” beards. Another traces it to Turkic origins, from the Arabic word qassab (“kasab”), meaning “butcher” or “slaughterer.”
