Russian Terrorist Attack Ternopil: Kh-101 Hits Civilians

Today’s Russian Terrorist Attack Ternopil once again exposed the rotten essence of the Orcs¹. When they fail to achieve their goals on the battlefield, they resort to openly terrorist tactics.

Since yesterday evening, it was clear there would be a massive Orc missile strike involving an extraordinarily large number of Tu-95 aircraft transferred from the Far East, Tu-160s, MiG-31 “Kinzhal” carriers, and “Kalibr” carriers from the Black Sea.

Ukrainian Air Force confirms that the enemy indeed fired a large number of missiles and, as always — hundreds of drones:

The attack continues, and just now air raid alerts were announced again. “Kinzhals” flew toward western regions. So the statistics below don’t account for them. Before these launches, they looked like this:

• Strike UAVs — launched 476/shot down 422
• Ballistic missiles type “Iskander-M” — launched 1/shot down 0
• Air-launched cruise missiles type Kh-101 — launched 40/shot down 34
• Sea-launched cruise missiles type “Kalibr” — launched 7/shot down 7

In total — 48/41 missiles, not counting those “Kinzhals” that just flew by. As already became known, the main strike directions were Kharkiv, Ternopil, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. And everywhere — the same thing: residential buildings, commercial warehouses, and of course — energy infrastructure facilities.

Growing Death Toll in Ternopil

Already seven victims are known, but judging by the photos coming from Ternopil and the condition of the multi-story building hit by the missile, there will be more victims. They’ve just started clearing the rubble, and this number will grow.

At the same time, Pidars² perfectly know that our military won’t do anything similar and won’t level residential neighborhoods in principle. This is simply terrorism — the only thing Pidars are capable of responding with.

Compare for yourself: on one side — a surgical operation with preliminary destruction of air defense in Novorossiysk, one of the Orcs’ most fortified facilities. Ukraine’s attack on ruSSians naval bases is already being considered today on military forums as a model of modern warfare in its new forms and realities.

On the other — the Russian terrorist attack Ternopil exemplifies perfectly: usual launches of missiles into multi-story buildings. Shelling residential buildings is what war tribunals should consider, because such attacks deserve no other assessment than life sentences.

Updated: 25 Dead in Ternopil

As expected, the number of victims after the strike on the panel high-rise in Ternopil sharply increased. As of this moment, it already stands at 25 people. Unfortunately, we’ve already seen many similar episodes. When seven victims were announced in the morning, it was immediately clear there would be many times more. We assume that even this isn’t the full number of victims. When the rubble is completely cleared, there will be significantly more.

A Kh-101 cruise missile hit the building. This is no longer an assumption but a documented fact. A video appeared online of the missile’s approach and its strike on the building, on which the missile type is easily identifiable. And if so, we can refer to open data on its specifications and obtain data about the warhead type (quote):

The main version of Kh-101 is equipped with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead weighing up to 960 kg. High-energy explosive substances are used as charges, such as RDX in a mixture with TNT or similar compositions. Such a combination provides a powerful explosion and formation of a large number of damaging fragments.

Deliberate Targeting of Civilians

As you can see, the building was hit by a missile with almost a ton of warhead. The missile followed an attack trajectory, meaning it sharply descended while approaching the target. There was nothing there except residential development. There was nowhere to hit except a residential building, which it hit.

Now, some considerations about what can be discovered in open sources and through common sense. Over four years of war, the enemy has significantly improved guidance systems not just for expensive cruise missiles but even for drones like “Shahed”. Guidance accuracy is very important, but in addition, products have become much more resistant to electronic warfare effects. This is ensured by multi-channel communication modules that receive reference signals in different frequency ranges. And if this is already used in drone assembly, then probably for missiles they won’t spare, conditionally, 32 channels instead of 16 for Shaheds.

And this says that the missile hit exactly where it was directed. Thus, the Russian terrorist attack Ternopil represents another confirmation that the enemy is waging an overtly terrorist type of war. Therefore, any reflection regarding Orcs should be considered not as stupidity anymore but as outright approval of such actions.
