Stolen tank Lyubymivka: How Civilians Captured an enemy Tank

On the third day of the full-scale invasion by the ruZZians, something unusual happened in the Kherson region. Stolen tank Lyubymivka became a reality thanks to local Roma. They found an abandoned ruZZian tank. The occupiers had left it without protection. The machine could still move, but it had technical problems. The ruZZian soldiers failed to take it back in time.

The villagers used a tractor and pulled the abandoned tank off the road. Eyewitnesses recorded the scene and posted video on social media. The video spread fast across Ukraine and beyond. It triggered a wave of comments, memes, and jokes.

The internet exploded with humor. People said that, for the first time in history, a tank had officially turned into a “used car.” The story of the stolen tank Lyubymivka showed the weakness of the so-called “second army in the world.” It also became a symbol of popular resistance, when unarmed civilians used wit and courage to strike the ruZZian army.
