Strike Military Plant in Cheboksary: Kometa Modules halted
Ukrainian drones delivered a strike on military plant in Cheboksary on the night of November 26. The Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) hit the VNIIR-Progress facility. This plant produces military navigation equipment, including 12-channel and 16-channel Kometa modules that guide Shaheds, Iskander missiles, Kalibr missiles, and KABs from FAB-500 to FAB-3000. They also manufacture control systems for missiles and drones there.
Simply put, almost all missiles and strike drones flying at Ukrainian cities rely on equipment created at this plant. Every Shahed that terrorizes civilians, every FAB that destroys residential buildings, every Kalibr that hits infrastructure — they all use navigation systems from Cheboksary. Therefore, without any doubt, this represents a legitimate military target under international law.
Madyar’s Sarcastic Report
USF Commander Robert Brovdi (Madyar) broke the news first. He delivered it as always, in his trademark sarcastic style:
USF birds on the night of November 26 pecked at the Progress plant in the swamps* of the Chuvash Republic (Cheboksary) — a manufacturer of military navigation equipment that assembles Kometa modules to ensure the guidance of Shaheds, Iskander missiles, Kalibr missiles, and guided glide (cruise) aerial bombs FAB-500 to FAB-3000.
It’s precisely the 12-channel and 16-channel damned Kometa device that radically reduces the impact of interference on crawling “flyers” like Shaheds, enemy reconnaissance wings, aerial bombs, and missiles.
The VNIIR-Progress plant produces so-called GNSS receivers and antennas for GLONASS, GPS, and Galileo satellite systems.
The courtesy visit by Unmanned Systems Forces was delivered by Birds of the 1st Separate SBS Center (transformed 14th SBS regiment).

Distance No Longer Surprises
We won’t emphasize the distance — after all, at the end of 2025, 1,000 kilometers to the target no longer surprises anyone. Instead, we’ll express hope that the VNIIR-Progress plant has been added to the target bank. This means that after the russians repair the damage — and they will try — the “good birds” will return. The facility will receive repeated visits until it stops producing equipment that guides weapons at Ukrainian civilians.
The message is clear: if you produce weapons that kill Ukrainian civilians, your facility becomes a target, regardless of distance. The strike on military plant in Cheboksary demonstrates this principle perfectly.
*Swamps – ironic name for Russia, emphasizing decay, stagnation, and filth.
