Stronger Than Before: war-in-ukraine.com Is Back Online

After a difficult period, our resource is finally back and accessible at war-in-ukraine.com. From the very first days of its existence, our project has been under constant pressure and attacks. We faced endless waves of DDoS assaults, hacking attempts, and organized campaigns aimed at silencing us. But despite everything, war-in-ukraine.com is back online, proving that no amount of pressure can erase the truth.
However, the biggest blow came not from hackers, but from a loss that we could not prevent in time. Due to certain circumstances, we lost our domain. For their maintenance, we relied on a company that presented itself as “American”. Unfortunately, later it became clear that among the company’s employees were Russian nationals. Their involvement and deliberate obstruction directly prevented us from renewing the domain in time. This failure turned out to be far more damaging than all previous DDoS attacks combined.
Losing the domain meant losing access to years of work, publications, and a vital communication channel with our readers. It was a heavy strike, but not a final one. Thanks to our team of volunteer programmers, we are now in the process of restoring the lost materials. It will take time, but we will recover and rebuild everything that was taken from us.
This experience has led us to draw several critical conclusions:
- Never work with Russians under any circumstances.
- Never use the services of companies that employ Russians, regardless of how they present themselves.
Otherwise, you risk losing not only your work but also trust, time, and invaluable resources.
Despite all the obstacles, we are back. War-in-ukraine.com is back online — stronger, more determined, and ready to continue our mission. Thank you for standing with us.
