Throughout the day passing, from the evening of March 23 to the evening of March 24, the enemy executed a large-scale air operation against Ukraine. It consisted of night and day phases. At night they delivered a combined strike using ballistic, cruise, and guided missiles and, of course, attack drones. In daylight hours they used only drones. The March 24 massive strike night attack looked like this:

Cruise missiles got launched by Tu-95/160 aircraft. Following the results of our air defense means and aviation work, this phase’s result turned out as follows:

Residential buildings, a commercial facility, a hotel, and other civilian structures were damaged. Trucks and passenger cars also caught fire. Three people are confirmed dead and at least 16 injured, including a child.
Day Phase: Over 500 Drones in One Wave
After several hours’ break, the enemy continued the attack, launching attack drones simultaneously from several locations. This attack already looked approximately like this:

Air defense forces and aviation destroyed most of the 500+ drones. The official general report reflects this as follows:

A large number of drones approached from the north — through the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. At the same time, the geography of the daytime phase was significantly wider than during the night. Enemy drones were recorded in the following regions: Poltava, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, and all western regions of the country, from Khmelnytskyi to Lviv.
In total, during the conventional 24-hour period (from 6:00 PM on March 23 to 6:00 PM on March 24), the occupiers used 948 Shahed-136 attack drones. The overall results of two attack phases that the enemy conducted today throughout the day look like this:
Ballistic missiles “Iskander-M” type — 7/0
Air-launched cruise missiles Kh-101 — 18/18
Ground-launched cruise missiles “Iskander-K” — 5/5
Air-launched guided missiles Kh-59/69/31 — 4/2
Attack drones of various types — 948/906
UA Strikes vs Orcs Strikes
In other words, the enemy decided to invest all the stupidity they could organize here and now into this strike. Results are already known to everyone. However cynical this may be, it’s still worth comparing with those results our strikes showed, delivered with far more modest quantities of destruction means. Saratov refinery still remains in smoke break mode. The oil-loading port in Primorsk, though it resumed loading, did so with a warning that its capabilities are very limited.
The enemy has at minimum one damaged loading terminal, and possibly this data is too modest. The March 24 massive strike have been their largest effort yet, but the enemy already forgot the time when they could deliver strikes on Ukraine’s territory with impunity and without losses. Ukraine’s Defense Forces strikes become increasingly heavy, accurate, and far-reaching. Orcs* themselves no longer doubt the most interesting part lies ahead for them. We never had doubts about this. So you wanted war — get it!
*Orcs – a common term for Russians who support or participate in the armed aggression against Ukraine. Dehumanizing? Yes. Accurate? Also yes.
